The Princess of Wales appeared delighted when Wimbledon’s youngest champion, Carlos Alcaraz, presented her with his winner’s trophy after a thrilling SW19 final.
The Spaniard bowed to the Princess, who paired her stylish, inexperienced £750 Roland Mouret flock with a pair of earrings in the same color to top off the match.
He could have been seen waving to the match champion as he presented the award instead of stepping back and applauding in the all-new primary.
Moments before handing over the illustrious trophy, Princess Catherine offered her condolences to Alcaraz opponent Novak Djokovic as the Serb bowed his head as he accepted the award.
The Princess received a standing ovation before taking up her duties as Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club.

During the ceremony, the Princess also chose to shake hands with various fellow officers as well as Championship referee Jerry Armstrong, who has been associated with the game for 50 years.
She briefly chatted with him in the sphere as the gang cheered.
The 41-year-old princess was joined by her children Prince George and Princess Charlotte and her husband Prince William on the final day of the SW19 match.
Along with her fashionable mother, Princess Charlotte was pictured wearing pink parasols as she sat behind her brother.
Prince George was seen in royal navy blue as he sat behind his sister.
Both children were completely engrossed in the day’s tennis, with the younger prince watching the motion factors with his head in his hands.
The royals were seen waving to supporters as they crossed the bridge to leave the party.
Princess Kate has already attended the match twice this season and was able to watch Czech Republic’s Vondrousova win the Venus Rosewater Dish.

Alcaraz’s victory makes him the main member of the ‘Big Four’ – Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray – to win the men’s singles since 2002.
The win follows her first Grand Slam title 12 months after a successful US Open final.
The last time Djokovic, 36, failed, Carlos was still at a top university.
