He was a motorcycle freak and lived riding his bike. Tony was a member of the Teamsters Horsemen 40NW Association. His friends lovingly called him “Consigliere.” He was an ardent fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins.

Tony also loved working on bikes with his guys at Loc Customs. He was a frequent visitor at the customization garage. He was an adventurous fellow who didn’t fear anyone.
Tony Culver Died in I-90 Motorcycle Accident: What Happened?
A tragic motorcycle crash happened on Interstate 90 on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, in which 52-year-old Erie man Tony Culver died. He was riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle in the westbound lanes of the interstate near mile marker 37.
The crash took place around 4:19 PM when Culver passed several vehicles in the left lane. He then moved into the left lane but went into the gravel on the shoulder. He hit several guide rail posts while doing so.

Troopers were called to the scene but they couldn’t save Tony. He was knocked off the motorcycle and pronounced dead. The affected area was cordoned off for the rest of the day to investigate the crash. It is near the interchange with I-86.

Tony Culver is survived by his wife, Hope Culver; his mother, Marion Bretz (Bill Stephany); four children, Ashley Culver, Emily Culver (Sean Kennedy), Alysha Culver, and Xavier Culver; ten grandchildren, Damiano, D’Angelo, Austyn, Ophelia, Avianna, Natalina, A’Kylah, Amoriella, Ja’Marion, and R’Money; his mother-in-law, Charlotte Reitz; his cousin/brother, Peter Culver; and many beloved friends.
