Johnny Manziel is an American football quarterback who played two seasons with the Cleveland Browns.
He was born on December 6, 1992, in Tyler, Texas, to Michelle and Paul Manziel, and has a younger sister named Meri.
Manziel was given the nickname “Johnny Football” during his sophomore year of high school in Texas, and the nickname followed him to Texas A&M University.
He applied for and was granted a registered trademark for the nickname in 2013.
