According to many sources, she earned her diploma from Wichita North High School. Carrie was the widow of Leo R. Helsel Sr. who died in October 1970. The couple were married for many years.
The couple has three children – two sons, John and Robert Jr., and a daughter, Susan. Carrie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Carrie’s death has left a huge void in the hearts of many who knew and loved her.
