Alongside Lindsay Shiver, police have also arrested Terrance Bethel and Faron Newbold in connection to the case.
Police arrest Lindsay Shiver
Local authorities in the Bahamas were investigating a different case when they stumbled upon Lindsay’s murder plot. According to reports, the local police were searching for the phone of a suspected burglar at Grabber’s Bar and Grill located in Great Guana Cay, Bahamas. During the search, which took place earlier this month, police found texts related to the plot. As a result, police arrested Lindsay Shiver along with the two men related to the plot – Terrance Bethel 28 and Faron Newbold. Terrance Bethel is reportedly believed to be Lindsay’s lover. As of now there are no reports on whose phone revealed the murder plot.

Following the arrests, Lindsay Shiver, along with Bethel and Newbold all got transported from Guana to Nassau. They trio were not required to enter a plea and are now set to appear in court on Friday. Following which they will then appear in court again later this year on October 5. According to reports, Lindsay met her alleged lover Bethel at the house, which she and her estranged husband Robert owned in the Bahamas. The two started having an affair, which Robert eventually found out and filed for divorce. This was when Lindsay decided to allegedly pay a hitman to murder her estranged husband.

Lindsay Shiver is a native of Georgia who is currently 36 years old. She won the Miss Houston County back in 2005 and also finished second in the National Peanut Festival pageant that same year. Aside from that, there is not much information available about her.

Lindsay first met her now estranged husband Robert, during a fitness class at Auburn University way back in 2007. The couple started dating and eventually got married. In one of her posts, Lindsay shared a picture of the couple on their wedding day, with the caption:

Robert was a football player at Auburn University and signed with the Atlanta Falcons as a free agent. However, he got cut from the squad ahead of the start of the 2009 season. He currently works as the executive vice president of Senior Life Insurance Company and is based in Thomasville, Georgia.
